The Engage 45 SE base is designed to only be used with a deskphone, but the Engage 45 SE headset works with the Link 400 USB Adaptor and Engage 65 base unit accessories too. That means you can keep the same headset and just upgrade your USB adaptor or base.

Yes it does. This qualification is the strictest test requirement of how the headset microphone suppresses surrounding noise and office conversation from multiple directions. It is the ultimate reassurance that your headset will excel in an open office environment.

When you are not on a call, every time the headset is docked in the Engage 45 SE base, it will charge. The headset can also be charged with a USB-C cable (not included) that enables in-call charging for stereo and mono variants (not recommended for convertible models).

Engage 45 SE is for use with a deskphone only.

The 150 m / 490 ft range is measured by “Line of sight” (LOS), which shows how far the headset can be from the base or adapter without affecting its ability to deliver clear conversations. Range performance can be affected by different factors, including dense building structure – such as the number of thick walls between the adapter and the headset – and wireless density in an office, e.g. how many people are using (DECT) wireless headsets in the same area.

The warranty period for EMEA and APAC is two years, and one year for North America.

Yes, a replacement battery is available as an accessory for stereo and mono versions.

We are using the "SE" to indicate commonality with the Engage 55 SE, Engage 65 SE, and Engage 75 SE, which are being made available to customers at the same time. While each member of the Engage wireless family provides different connectivity options, the headsets are interchangeable. The SE also indicates that, as with our Engage 55 SE, 65 SE, and 75 SE, the 45 SE comes with USB-C charging ports on the headset and docking station as standard.
